    1. They get a more even head of hair, thicker, healthier.

    2. That's so not true!

    3. That is true. If you shave you head completely, when it comes back, it will be thicker and healthier. that happens every time you shave.

    4. Every time you shave you cut the hair at a different angle making it APPEAR thicker.

    5. Its not true. Most of my hair fell out after chemo and I had to shave the rest...when it grew back it was a different color AND texture but still thin!

    7. I am a hairstylist, it is a myth that your hair grows back thicker. you only have so many hair follicles, just bc you cut all your hair off does not make your head produce more of them

  4. I'd be crying too if someone was holding my head in a vice grip and coming at my head/face with a pair of sharp ass scissors... Clearly these people were not trained in how to cut children's hair, just adult's hair...

    1. YOU are so correct. These kids are seeing a sharp object (don't play with that or run with that) or a loud shaver (wtf mom & dad & barber guy!). Has to be a better way.

  5. Honestly, I'm a little tweaked about the one where they are holding the kids face. I mean, if my kid was THAT terrified of having their hair cut, I would put it away and have it done another day. Emotional trauma should be taken seriously in my opinion. Just because it is a child does not mean their fears or distaste should be illegitimized. >.> they are still a living being that should be treated with SOME respect and not completely forced to do things they are seriously not for.
