#41 wrong. North America and South America
Eurasia is a region not a continent
North America and South America are not different continets, but part of the same continent: America.
Uh, wrong, Kelly.
yes and it all must be true because we read it on the internet
#31 is also wrong. Elvis' dead twin was named Jesse Garon. Elvis' middle name was Aron.
Too many of these are false. You can Google them or snopes them and find the right answers.
No. <---see what i did there? that is a shorter sentence than "I am."
A sentence must have a verb or it is just a word.
No. Yes. Two complete sentences.
Spiders will not crawl into an open mouth of a live animal.
#10 wrong: sporange (noun) - In botany, the case or sac in plants in which the spores, which are equivalent to the seeds of flowering plants, are produced or carried.
NTH - The only word in the English language that has no vowels.
How is NTH a word?
As in the "nth" degree, but is more commonly spelt enth
you forgot about WHY, it has no vowels
Since when is "y" not a vowel?
Most languages consider Y to be a consonant. I guess it's because it is a Greek consonant originally.
The spider one is entirely fake. It was made up to see how fast a rumor can spread.
# 49 is wrong - Franklin Roosevelt was an only child.
7 is also wrong. The longest mono-syllabic word in the English language is (to the best of my knowledge) squirreled.
That's two syllables: Squirr-eled
#25 is incorrect. Percy Spencer was working next to a magnetron, not a "tube" when his chocolate melted.
32# Isn't true... Donald Duck comics were NEVER banned in Finland.
# 8 is wrong The flag over the parliament building is the RED ENSIGN Canada's flag till 1965
Elvis' stillborn brother was named Jesse
Anon FDR had an older half brother
I found several inaccuracies in this list of "facts." Therefore, I don't trust many of the other statements. There are seven continents, and combining two of them together to make the fact "accurate" doesn't make it so. North America is a separate continent from South America and neither one ends with the same letter it begins with. Nice try. The other one I know is false is people eating spiders in their sleep. It's highly improbable because several things have to happen. First, you'd have to sleep with your mouth open. While some people do, most don't. Second, the average properly made-up bed gets maybe two spiders to cross it in a year. Add a person that rolls over and spiders are likely to avoid the spot. The biggest reason spiders won't go near your mouth (if it's even open) is because you're exhaling warm air, something spiders want NOTHING to do with. The final reason is you'd have to actually swallow in your sleep, and humans don't automatically swallow just because something entered our mouths. People with arachnophobia can rest easy on this one. If anyone doubts me, research it. There's a reason it's called a FACTOID (a statement that seems real enough to be fact but is in fact actually false). The flag on the Canadian two-dollar bill is the Red Ensign, NOT the American flag. Snopes.com can verify this one. Not all of the clocks in Pulp Fiction were set to 4:20. Most were, but not all.The almond is not a member of the peach family, but rather it is a member of the Rosaceae (Rose) family. The name of Elvis' brother was Jesse Garon Presley. Four of the Presidents were an only child growing up: Franklin D. Roosevelt, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama.Check your facts before you accept them as true.
